ICICI statement to Excel, CSV and Tally-compatible XML
Convert a ICICI Bank account statement PDF in your browser. The file and its password never leave your device, and every row is checked against ICICI's running balance.

Net-banking PDFs from SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak and most other banks. Password-protected files are fine.

Ledgers, rules and export settings Bank ledger, suspense ledger, "narration contains" rules
Use a suspense ledger and reclassify later, or type any ledger.
Blank = import into the company that is open.
Ledger rules (saved in this browser)
First matching rule wins. "Contains" can list several words separated by commas, e.g. SWIGGY, ZOMATO.
AI ledger suggestions
Sends only the narrations (no amounts, balances or file) to our server and an AI model, after you confirm. Suggestions fill rows that are still on the default ledger.
Click any date, narration, reference or amount to correct it; the balance check re-runs instantly. In TallyPrime, import the ledger masters file first (Import → Masters) and set Behaviour of import if master already exists to Ignore Duplicates, so ledgers you already have are not moved to another group. Then Import → Transactions. Re-importing the same statement updates its vouchers instead of duplicating them. Step-by-step guide

What we read
| ICICI column | KhataSheet output |
|---|---|
| S No. | (ignored) |
| Value Date | (used for checks) |
| Transaction Date | Date |
| Cheque Number | Ref |
| Transaction Remarks | Description |
| Withdrawal Amount (INR) | Debit |
| Deposit Amount (INR) | Credit |
| Balance (INR) | Balance |
Dates: dd/mm/yyyy. Output dates are dd/mm/yyyy in CSV and real dates in Excel.
ICICI format details we handle
- Headers wrap onto two lines ("Withdrawal Amount" / "(INR)") and are merged.
- The table header may appear only on the first page; later pages reuse the same columns.
- Some downloads print no opening balance; it is worked out from the first row and marked as derived.
- Newest-first downloads are put back in date order automatically.
Password-protected ICICI PDFs
Statements from ICICI by email are usually password protected. The email states the format, which commonly combines letters of your name with your date of birth. Enter it when KhataSheet asks; it is used only in your browser. If you want an unlocked copy for your records, use the PDF password remover (for your own files).
Questions
Is my ICICI statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read by code running in your browser and never leaves your device. That includes the password if the file is protected.
What is the password of my ICICI statement PDF?
Statements from ICICI by email are usually password protected. The email states the format, which commonly combines letters of your name with your date of birth. KhataSheet cannot recover or guess passwords.
Which ICICI statement layout is supported?
The net-banking PDF with columns S No., Value Date, Transaction Date, Cheque Number, Transaction Remarks, Withdrawal Amount (INR), Deposit Amount (INR), Balance (INR). Dates in the format dd/mm/yyyy are read. If your layout differs, try "Other bank (generic)" in the format menu.
What if a row does not match the balance?
It is flagged in red with the expected and printed balance. Compare it with the PDF and fix the cell; the check re-runs instantly. We never change amounts on our own.
Can I import my ICICI statement into Tally?
Yes. Download the Tally-compatible XML: debits become Payment vouchers and credits become Receipt vouchers against your "ICICI Bank A/c" ledger (you can rename it), with the counter ledger set by your rules or a suspense ledger.
KhataSheet is not affiliated with ICICI Bank. The bank's name is used only to describe the statement format we read. Sample statements on this page are synthetic.
