PDF password remover
Save an unlocked copy of your own password-protected PDF, such as an e-statement from your bank. You need to know the password.
Questions
Can this crack a PDF password I don't know?
No. You must enter the correct password. The tool only saves an unlocked copy of a file you can already open.
Is it safe for bank statements?
The PDF is decrypted by code running in your browser. Neither the file nor the password is sent to any server. Keep the unlocked copy somewhere safe, because anyone with the file can now open it.
Will the text still be selectable?
Yes. The pages are copied as they are, not turned into images, so text, tables and links are kept.
Why did it fail?
Usually a wrong password. A few PDFs use unusual encryption or are damaged; for those, open the file in a PDF reader with the password and use "Print to PDF" instead.
