1. The service

KhataSheet provides browser-based tools to convert bank statements into spreadsheets and accounting import files, and related free tools. During the launch period the service is free and has a monthly page allowance.

2. Your responsibility for the output

Conversion is automated and can be wrong, especially for unusual layouts. We run a balance check and flag rows that do not reconcile, but you are responsible for reviewing the output before using it in books of account, returns, audits or any filing. KhataSheet is a tool, not accounting, tax or legal advice.

3. Acceptable use

  • Only process documents you own or are authorised to handle, for example as the account holder or their accountant.
  • The PDF password remover is only for files whose password you legitimately know.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass usage limits, or abuse optional server features.

4. Files you send us

Using the converter never uploads your statements. Sending us a file through the contact form or the "Send us this statement" button is optional and only happens when you press send. Only send files you are allowed to share: your own, or ones you have the account holder's permission to share. We use them only to reply to you and fix the service, keep them private, and delete them after 30 days, as described in the privacy policy.

5. No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, KhataSheet is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from errors in converted data that a reasonable review would have caught. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (currently nil, as the service is free).

6. Trademarks

Tally, Tally.ERP 9 and TallyPrime are trademarks of Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. Bank names are trademarks of their owners. KhataSheet is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by them; names are used only to describe compatibility and supported formats.

7. Changes and paid plans

We may change features or limits. If paid plans are introduced, prices and terms will be shown clearly before any purchase; nothing will be charged without your explicit action.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
